Ingredients (makes 8 medium loaves)

  • 325 grams of flour
  • 155 ml milk
  • 5 grams of baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 10 grams of sugar
  • 5 grams of salt
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • Water required amount
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

  • In a bowl, first sift the flour with the salt and sugar.
  • Make a hole in the middle and add the slightly warm milk and the yeast.
  • Mix so that everything is integrated.
  • Next, add the lightly beaten egg and keep stirring.
  • Pour in the olive oil and knead on the counter until you get a very smooth dough.
  • Then, form a ball with the dough, cover with a cloth and let it rest for an hour and a half.
  • Exhaust the air by pressing lightly with your fingers.
  • Cut into eight equal parts (about 70 grams each).
  • Shape into a hamburger bun and place on a greased baking sheet (remember that the buns will grow back in volume, so separate them well between them)
  • Cover with the cloth again and let them rise for another 40 minutes.
  • Turn the oven to 180 ° C.
  • Brush the muffins with water very carefully so that the dough does not fall.
  • Sprinkle the sesame.
  • Bake for at least 15 minutes without opening the oven lid, or until golden brown.
  • Finally, take the hamburger bun out of the oven and let it cool completely on the rack before slicing.
  • If you want to freeze them, wait for them to cool down and wrap them in plastic wrap or special bags.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 spoon of sugar
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 25 grams of yeast
  • 100 cc of water
  • 150 cc of milk

  • Work the dough well on a floured worktop, using your hands, until it is very elastic and does not stick to your fingers.
  • Cover with a cloth or wrap with plastic wrap and leave for 20 minutes.
  • Press with your fingers to remove the air and continue kneading, then roll with a rolling pin until it is approximately 1 cm thick.
  • With a round mold cut the loaves, about 6 cm in diameter.
  • Arrange on a plate suitable for oven (with separation from each other, because they will grow in size).
  • Cover and let rise another 20 minutes.
  • Finally, brush with a beaten egg and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
  • Cook until golden brown, remove and cool before serving.
